CINCINNATI, OHIO – Two additional individuals have been taken into custody by Cincinnati police in connection with the fatal shooting of a 37-year-old man in Carthage in March. Makala Damico, 21, and Nigel Garrison, 23, were arrested on April 19 for their alleged involvement in the murder of Jonathan Calhoun. This follows the previous arrest of 22-year-old Keymoni Cephas on the day of Calhoun’s tragic death.
The incident took place on March 30 when authorities responded to a report of a shooting on the 300 block of W. Seymour Avenue around 6:45 p.m. Upon arrival, responders discovered Calhoun with gunshot wounds. He was rushed to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.
