Edenderry, Ireland — Authorities have initiated a murder investigation following a devastating house fire that claimed the lives of a four-year-old boy and a woman in her sixties on Saturday evening. The incident occurred in a residence on Castleview Park, where emergency services responded to reports of a blaze around 7:45 p.m.
The victims are believed to be related, and early inquiries suggest that the fire was deliberately set as part of an arson attack. Investigators are examining the possibility that those responsible may be linked to drug-related activities in the Midlands region.
