Pizza Delivery Driver Killed During Robbery Attempt on Second Day on the Job in Florida

WEST PALM BEACH, Florida – The tragic death of a pizza delivery driver sent shockwaves through the community as authorities detailed the events leading up to the fatal shooting. Tommie Charles Anderson III, in only his second day on the job, was reportedly shot and killed during a robbery attempt.

The West Palm Beach Police Department responded to a call about a shooting and found Anderson suffering from gunshot wounds to the neck and arm. Despite being rushed to the hospital, doctors pronounced him dead about a half-hour later.

Further investigation revealed that Anderson had just completed a delivery for Domino’s when he was attacked. The resident of the delivery location called for help after hearing gunshots. Surveillance video in the area showed a car fitting the description of the suspects’ vehicle.

Three individuals were later taken into custody and admitted to their involvement in the incident. Each faces first-degree murder charges and is currently being held without bond at the Palm Beach County Jail. This devastating crime has left a family without a father and has deeply impacted the local community.

The victim’s father shared that Anderson leaves behind two children, ages 6 and 13, and worked two jobs to support them. As the investigation continues, the community mourns the loss of a hardworking individual and grapples with the senseless violence that led to this tragedy.
