Baton Rouge, Louisiana – Baton Rouge police have identified the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred on North Interstate 110 as an apparent result of a road rage incident.
According to authorities, the incident unfolded when two vehicles were observed engaging in aggressive maneuvering through traffic near North I-10 and Dalrymple Drive. The situation escalated as the vehicles proceeded on North I-110 towards the Fuqua Street exit ramp, culminating in multiple gunshots being fired at 12:48 p.m.
Tragically, 18-year-old Jayrick Washington, who was driving one of the vehicles, crashed as a result of the shooting and was declared dead at the scene.
