Samurai Sword Attack Suspect Still Being Questioned After Chef’s Murder

The suspect, in his 30s, was apprehended by authorities at a bed and breakfast in Cappoquin, Co Waterford after a search that lasted since the violent incident a week earlier in Cobh, Co Cork. The arrest came following information received by law enforcement, and the suspect remains detained at a Garda station in Cork.

The assault on Mr. Baitson occurred in a car park on Newtown Road, resulting in his swift transportation to Cork University Hospital where he passed away on Tuesday afternoon.
