Shooter Dances and Flaunts Cash Before Ambushing Man at Harris County Gas Station

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Investigators in Harris County are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect who fatally shot a man after an argument at a gas station. The victim, Gary Houston, 30, was gunned down in what authorities believe was a dispute that turned deadly.

Surveillance video captured the suspect wearing a yellow cap, dancing and flaunting a wad of cash inside a store before the shooting. The footage then shows the suspect with a group of men near Houston’s car, before he is seen opening fire at the victim as he emerged from the shadows at an apartment complex.

The victim’s mother, Alanka Houston, expressed her grief and frustration, stating, “Those cowards shot my son in the back four times.” She also revealed that her son’s shooting led to a chain-reaction crash, injuring an innocent bystander.

Gary Houston, described as a loving father and protective brother, was looking forward to spending more time with his daughter. His mother is urging anyone with information regarding the shooting or the suspect’s identity to come forward and help bring the perpetrator to justice.
