Shooting at Angleton Industrial Site Leaves 2 Dead – Suspect in Custody

ANGLETON, Texas – A tragic shooting at an industrial business in Angleton, Texas has left two people dead. The incident occurred at Thermal Polymer Systems on South Velasco Street and the suspect, 35-year-old Bradley Jones, is now in custody and being questioned by police.

Jones is alleged to have shot and killed one male and one female before fleeing to Surfside Beach where he was apprehended by police. According to authorities, Jones entered the local business and shot two employees in the back office, while holding a gun to a female employee’s head but ultimately not harming her.

After driving away, Jones was located by the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office on Surfside Beach, where he was taken into custody following a brief negotiation. Police have stated that Jones has a relationship to the business, as his wife is a former employee. The motive for the shooting remains unclear and is under investigation.

Law enforcement officials are working with the Brazoria County District Attorney’s Office to obtain search warrants for the suspect’s home and will be conducting further investigations.
