Shooting Suspects Wanted in Connection to SEPTA Bus Stop Incident that Killed Teen QPainter!

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – Philadelphia police have released photos of two suspects wanted in connection to a fatal shooting at a SEPTA bus stop that claimed the life of 17-year-old Dayemen Taylor on March 4th.

The first suspect, described as a black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a distinctive message on the back, dark-colored pants, and a mask, is considered armed and dangerous. The second suspect, also a black male, was seen wearing a light-colored hooded jacket, dark-colored pants, and a mask during the incident.

The tragic mass shooting, which left four people injured, occurred in the Ogontz neighborhood when two individuals, at least one armed with an automatic weapon, opened fire on a group of young people waiting at the SEPTA bus stop. The shooters discharged more than 50 rounds with the automatic weapon.

Dayemen Taylor, hit multiple times, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital shortly after the shooting. Philadelphia Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel indicated that the victim appeared to be targeted in the attack.

In addition to Taylor, a 15-year-old boy sustained a graze wound, a 14-year-old arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound, a 50-year-old woman suffered a graze to her forearm, and a 71-year-old woman was shot in the head. Fortunately, all other victims were in stable condition and expected to recover.

The SEPTA bus involved was the Route 6, where passengers were boarding and alighting at the time of the shooting. Surveillance footage captured the chaos as people sought cover and fled the bus after the driver stopped several blocks away following the attack.

Authorities are offering a $20,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects responsible for the fatal shooting.
