Miami, Florida – Authorities have identified the two individuals who tragically lost their lives in a shooting incident in a Miami neighborhood. Mackenson Paul Jr. and Rasaad Sawyer were both killed during the incident that took place on Wednesday afternoon in Model City.
The shooting occurred around 2 p.m. in the area of Northwest 55th Street and Northwest 10th Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered one individual deceased at the scene. Additionally, two other victims who had been shot managed to transport themselves to a nearby police station. Unfortunately, one of those victims succumbed to their injuries at the hospital, while the third victim remains in stable condition.

Miami Police Captain Freddie Cruz emphasized the urgency of the situation, stating, “This occurred in broad daylight in the middle of the afternoon. We urge the community to step forward and assist us if they witnessed anything or have any knowledge that could aid in the investigation.”
