Smoke Shop Employee Fatally Shot in Kanawha County Armed Robbery

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. – Law enforcement has identified the victim of a fatal shooting at a vape shop on Tuesday evening as 19-year-old Caden Martin of Dunbar. Martin was found dead behind the counter inside Tobacco & Pipe along 7th Avenue in what police responded to as an armed robbery call.

According to the Charleston Police Department, a 14-year-old entered the store, brandished a firearm, and demanded money and merchandise.
