SPRING, Texas — A tragic shooting in a suburban neighborhood led to the arrest of a 27-year-old woman, accused of taking her stepmother’s life. According to local authorities, Da’kayla Dailey was charged with murder after the fatal incident, which left the community in shock.
The victim, identified as 69-year-old Kathy Brown, was discovered deceased with multiple gunshot wounds in her home on Hannover Forest Drive. The investigation began when a pool technician working at the residence reported hearing several gunshots emanating from inside, prompting a call to law enforcement.
