Suffolk County Justice Orders High Bail for Indicted Individuals, One Remains at Large

CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. – Several individuals were arraigned in Suffolk County Supreme Court on various charges, each with their own bail conditions and court dates.

On January 30, 2024, RAMIREZ CERRATO appeared before Justice Anthony S. Senft Jr., who ordered the defendant to be held on $500,000 cash, $1,000,000 bond, or $5,000,000 partially secured bond. CERRATO is scheduled to appear in court again on March 4, 2024, represented by Ian Fitzgerald, Esq.

The following day, CHAVEZ CAMPOS was arraigned with bail set at $250,000 cash, $500,000 bond, or $2,500,000 partially secured bond. CAMPOS is due back in court on February 23, 2024, with legal representation from Pierre Bazile, Esq.

On February 2, 2024, SERPOS and GARCIA CORNEJO were arraigned with their respective bail conditions. SERPOS is set to appear in court on February 23, 2024, and is represented by Xavier Palacios, Esq. GARCIA CORNEJO is scheduled to appear on February 20, 2024, and is represented by Peter Mayer, Esq.

Three days later, JIMENEZ AVILA and a minor were arraigned with their individual bail amounts and court dates. JIMENEZ AVILA is due back in court on March 4, 2024, represented by George Duncan, Esq. The minor is also scheduled to appear on the same date, with legal representation from Robert Tsigler, Esq.

As of February 9, 2024, ZEPEDA PADILLA remains at large. Authorities urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact the Suffolk County Police Department or Crime Stoppers.

The arraignments all took place at Suffolk County Supreme Court, with each defendant assigned bail conditions and legal representation. The varying amounts of bail and court dates reflect the individual circumstances of each case.
