Known for excelling in sports and academics at Manchester High School, Daryus was described as a well-liked and humble student by school officials.
In the early hours of Sunday morning, a shooting took place at the intersection of Lakeshore Drive and Crystal Drive, resulting in Daryus Bryant being fatally wounded. Another student at Manchester High, Clarence Favors, was also injured in the incident. The heartbreaking loss of Daryus has left his father, Cartarsman Bryant, devastated and calling for action to address gun violence.
