Teens Arrested in South Carolina Pizza Delivery Driver Murder Case

COLUMBIA, South Carolina – The Columbia Police Department announced the arrest of two South Carolina teenagers this week, following the tragic death of a 48-year-old pizza delivery driver. Trevor Harris, 18, and his 17-year-old relative were charged with murder, attempted armed robbery, criminal conspiracy, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime in connection with the November 2023 incident.

The victim, Christopher Shirah, was reportedly lured to a vacant apartment unit under the pretense of a pizza delivery. Upon arrival, the teens allegedly attempted to rob him before fatally shooting him and fleeing the scene. Shirah’s loved ones and family shared memories of him on an obituary website in the days following his tragic death.

Following the incident, agents with the United States Marshals Service located the teens at a residence in West Columbia, where they were subsequently arrested. Both individuals are currently being held at Columbia’s Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
