BANGKOK, Thailand — A shooting in Thailand’s southern Narathiwat province has resulted in the deaths of three individuals, including a nine-year-old girl. The incident, which occurred late Friday in the Tak Bai district, has reignited concerns about ongoing violence in a region long plagued by separatist conflict.
Local authorities confirmed the tragic event, noting that a 75-year-old man was also among the victims. According to police, one person died at the scene, while two others later succumbed to their injuries in a hospital.
