Woonsocket, R.I. — Authorities have identified the three individuals who died in a tragic incident involving a murder-suicide on November 3. The victims were identified as 40-year-old Kimberly Pieranunzi, 45-year-old Donald Roderick Jr., and 24-year-old Sean Rivera.

Police reports reveal that Kimberly resided in an apartment on Rathbun Street with her boyfriend, Donald, along with her 19-year-old daughter and the daughter’s boyfriend, Sean. On the fateful night, a confrontation erupted between Sean and his girlfriend, which escalated dramatically.

Witness accounts indicate that during the argument, Sean allegedly brandished a firearm and demanded sexual relations. According to police, the confrontation quickly turned violent, with the daughter claiming that she was assaulted by Sean. In a panic, she fled to her mother’s room for safety.

However, Sean pursued her into the room and reportedly opened fire, hitting Kimberly multiple times. In the chaos, the young woman managed to escape the apartment and sought help by calling the police from a nearby business.

According to authorities, Donald returned home from work in the midst of the chaotic scene and was shot by Sean as well. The confrontation ended when Sean turned the gun on himself, resulting in his death.

When officers arrived at the apartment, they located a firearm belonging to Sean, which turned out to have been stolen from Maine. Investigators noted that the nature of the incident was confined to the residents of the apartment, asserting that there is no ongoing threat to the broader community.

The Woonsocket Police Department continues to investigate the details surrounding the incident, emphasizing the severe impact of domestic violence and the importance of support resources for those affected.
