Former President Donald Trump, a stalwart of the Republican Party, recently expressed his openness to having a woman as his vice president for the 2024 presidential race. However, he emphasized that while gender diversity is commendable, the primary criterion for his VP pick will be competence and alignment with his vision for America.
In a candid conversation with NBC’s “Meet the Press” moderator, Kristen Welker, Trump was questioned about his inclination towards a female running mate. He responded, “I appreciate the idea, but the ultimate goal is to select the most qualified individual. Still, the notion is indeed appealing.”
While the 2024 presidential campaign is still nascent, Trump has yet to delve heavily into finalizing his VP choice. “It’s essential to focus on winning first,” he remarked.
The political grapevine has been buzzing with speculation that Trump might opt for a female VP to appeal to the suburban female demographic. This crucial segment could tilt the scales against President Joe Biden. Names like Kari Lake, former Arizona gubernatorial candidate; Nikki Haley, ex-South Carolina Governor; Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Trump’s former press secretary and current Arkansas Governor; and Kristi Noem, South Dakota’s Governor, have been floated around.
Trump’s praise for Governor Noem during the “Meet the Press” interview was evident. Highlighting her commendable governance and robust endorsement at a recent state rally, he mentioned that she would undoubtedly be on his list of potential picks.
Another intriguing name in the mix is Vivek Ramaswamy, a young and dynamic Republican presidential candidate. Trump’s admiration for Ramaswamy was evident when he lauded him during a chat with conservative talk show host Glenn Beck. Trump’s affinity for Ramaswamy stems from the latter’s vocal appreciation of Trump’s presidency.
Ramaswamy, while flattered by the VP proposition, has his sights set on the top job. He believes that his mission to rejuvenate and unify the nation can best be achieved from the Oval Office. His commitment to change was evident when he preferred driving transformation through the private sector rather than settling for a secondary role in the government.
Trump’s conversation with Beck also touched upon the fresh perspective that a young and relatively new candidate like Ramaswamy could bring to the political landscape of Washington. However, Trump also cautioned, hinting at Ramaswamy’s penchant for stirring the pot.
Ramaswamy’s bold pledge to dismantle the FBI and restructure several federal agencies has been a point of contention. While many Republicans have expressed concerns about the FBI’s alleged politicization, Ramaswamy’s aggressive stance has been met with mixed reactions. Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) opined that while the FBI needs reform, dissolving it isn’t the solution.
In conclusion, as the 2024 presidential race heats up, Trump’s VP pick will undoubtedly be a focal point of discussion. While gender diversity is on the table, Trump’s emphasis on competence and vision underscores the Republican Party’s commitment to America’s future.
Please! NOT Ramaswamy! He is NOT what he appears to be. He says what he thinks people want to hear just to be elected. Choose Kristi or Sarah. Either would be great for the GOP Ticket.
Vivek Ramaswamy is NOT a natural born citizen. BOTH of his parents were citizens of India when he was born in Ohio. There is a difference between being a citizen and a natural born citizen. So he is either ignorant of his lack of qualification or he is willing to violate the Constitution. Dr. Shive, Nikki Haley, Ted Cruz (he is a natural born Canadian citizen) and Kamala Harris are also not NBCs. Shiva was actually born in India to 2 parents citizens of India. The others were born here but neither of their parents were American citizens when the child was born. During the times of our founders it was the FATHER that transferred NBC to the children. That is a fact and it something that has never been changed. There were 8 attempts to remove the requirement of being a NBC to be President and VP. The last time was when Obama was a Senator. They tried desperately to make him legit and when that didn’t work out they just lied and covered up for him. If Trump is so ignorant of the requirements to be President/VP then I would find it hard to vote for him again. The fact that Obama may have been born outside the US is not a factor and those that truly did not understand the meaning of NBC went after the wrong thing when it came to Obama. All they had to do was check the citizenship of his father……..his father was a British Subject and not an American citizen. Here is an article that might help clear up things. The Law of Nations was written in natural law (the law of nature…..God’s law) and so was our Constitution. Our founders referenced The Law of Nations while creating our founding documents. https://newswithviews.com/JBWilliams/williams297.htm There is a link to Part 1 at the bottom of this article.
