PASCO, Wash. — Authorities have apprehended two juvenile suspects in connection with a shooting that left one individual dead on Sunday night.
The incident occurred shortly after 9:30 p.m. on July 6 along North Sixth Avenue. Officers from the Pasco Police Department responded to reports of gunfire and discovered an 18-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. First responders provided immediate aid at the scene, but the victim, later identified as Paul Jacobo, succumbed to his injuries shortly after the police arrived.
The Franklin County Coroner’s office confirmed Jacobo’s death following the incident. Authorities launched an extensive search for the shooter using drones and a K-9 unit; however, the suspected individuals evaded capture at that time.
By July 9, police announced they had identified two juveniles linked to the shooting. Both suspects were taken into custody and are being held at a juvenile detention facility. They are now facing serious charges, including first-degree murder and first-degree robbery.
