Leander, Texas – A devastating fire caused by a vacuum battery explosion has left a Leander resident, Shaun Noll, and his family with nothing on Easter morning. The incident unfolded in less than 30 minutes, with Noll’s two young sons witnessing the battery explosion while in the living room.
The battery, which was plugged into the wall charging the cordless vacuum, ignited, prompting the children to alert a neighbor and flee to safety. Fortunately, no one was injured in the blaze, but the family lost all their possessions in the fire.
Noll, who was at work when the incident occurred, rushed home upon receiving the alarming call from his neighbor. As he made his way back, he watched the traumatic events unfold on his Ring security cameras in real time. By the time he arrived, everything inside the house had been consumed by the flames.
