PHILADELPHIA, PA – A road rage incident erupted in gunfire Monday at a busy intersection, leaving two young individuals injured, according to police. Authorities report that the confrontation unfolded between 42nd Street and Girard Avenue, involving a man driving a silver Honda Civic, possibly model years 2016 or 2017.
The driver is suspected to be between 40 and 45 years old. The episode escalated when he allegedly fired shots at two occupants of another vehicle. The victims, a 15-year-old boy and a 20-year-old woman, sustained injuries during the altercation. The teenage boy was hit in the arm, while the young woman suffered a graze to her chest, according to a police statement.
Following the shooting, both victims sought medical attention at different hospitals. The young boy was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, and the woman reached Lankenau Medical Center with help from a private vehicle, which police are now holding for further examination. Authorities confirm that both teens are in stable condition.
As of now, no arrests have been made, and the weapon remains missing. Police have released security footage from several cameras that captured parts of the incident. In one clip, the suspect was seen shouting from his car window at a dark-colored vehicle before he fired his weapon and fled the scene.
The police have described the suspect’s car in detail, highlighting its distinct features. The silver Honda Civic has noticeable damage to its front quarter panels, a missing hubcap on the passenger side, and a distinctive white vanity tag on the front bumper.

This incident was one of several separate shootings reported in Philadelphia late Monday into early Tuesday, resulting in injuries to seven people.
