Fort Worth, Texas – A tragic incident unfolded in Fort Worth’s West 7th entertainment district where Bryson Rodgers, 29, lost his life after being shot and killed on Saturday night. The altercation began after an argument concerning someone that the shooter, Karlove Palmer, was dating. According to the affidavit, the disagreement escalated when Palmer confronted Rodgers and his group on the sidewalk shortly after the argument.

Despite efforts to de-escalate the situation, Palmer persisted in provoking Rodgers to fight. Tragically, the interaction turned fatal when Palmer allegedly shot Rodgers five times, leading to his untimely death. Rodgers, who did not engage physically with Palmer, succumbed to his injuries after the shooting.

Subsequently, Palmer turned himself in to authorities, facing a murder charge and currently held at the Tarrant County Jail on a $300,000 bond. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
