Arrest Made in Jersey City Triple Shooting Case, One Dead

Jersey City, New Jersey – A 36-year-old man from Hoboken is currently facing charges in connection to a tragic triple shooting that took place in Jersey City. The incident resulted in the death of one man and left two others injured, according to Hudson County prosecutors.

Joseph Del Valle has been charged with murder, weapons offenses, and assault following the shooting that occurred on March 9th on Jordan Avenue, near McGinley Square. The victim, identified as 33-year-old Christoph Terrero Marte from Jersey City, lost his life in the incident. Two other men, aged 28 and 31, were treated for injuries that were not life-threatening.

Del Valle was apprehended at an address on Summit Avenue in Jersey City and has been placed in Hudson County Correctional Facility awaiting his initial court hearing. In addition to Del Valle, 42-year-old Francisco Salcedo from Jersey City has also been charged with aggravated assault and weapons offenses in connection to the shooting.
