Arrests Made After Violent Armed Robbery and Assault in Northville Township

Northville, MI – Two individuals have been taken into custody in connection with a brutal armed robbery and sexual assault that took place in Northville Township in January, as reported by the police.

29-year-old Javon Bryant Anderson, from Detroit, faces a total of 26 felony charges, including first-degree criminal sexual conduct, armed robbery, kidnapping, home invasion, assault, possession of a firearm, assault with a dangerous weapon, and felony firearm offenses. He is being held on a $500,000 bond, with his next court appearance scheduled for February 16.

The second individual, whose name has not been disclosed by the police, has been placed in federal custody to face charges related to possession of weapons.

The incident occurred on January 20 at a residence in Northville Township, where a man was attacked and a woman was sexually assaulted. According to the investigation, the man was lured outside the home and then assaulted by the suspects. He was then forced back into the home, where he was held at gunpoint and further assaulted. During this time, one of the suspects sexually assaulted a woman inside the home, while the other suspect held the man and a 1-year-old child at gunpoint.
