Bengaluru CEO Arrested After Killing Her Child in Goa Amid Custody Battle

The tragic case of the Bengaluru CEO who allegedly killed her four-year-old son in a service apartment in Candolim, Goa, has taken a shocking turn. Suchana Seth was arrested on Monday in Chitradurga, Karnataka, after an accident near the Goa border led the police to her.

The accident caused a major traffic jam, giving the police the opportunity to track down Suchana Seth before she reached Bengaluru. Her arrest shed light on a custody battle with her estranged husband, Venkat Raman, who was also involved in a domestic violence case filed by Seth.

According to sources, Seth allegedly killed her son and then fled to Chitradurga where she was arrested. The couple’s divorce documents revealed a history of domestic violence and a restraining order against Venkat Raman, who was, however, granted visitation rights.

Seth’s alleged crime and subsequent denial of involvement during police interrogation raised suspicions, especially after two empty bottles of cough syrup were found in the room where the child was killed. The post-mortem examination revealed that the child was smothered to death, indicating a planned murder.

After checking into the service apartment on January 6 and staying until January 8, Seth left for Bengaluru in a taxi. She was remanded in police custody for six days by a court in Mapusa, Goa, following her arrest. Venkat Raman later arrived in Chitradurga to claim his son’s body after the post-mortem examination.

The tragic events surrounding the death of the four-year-old boy have left the community in shock, with many questions still unanswered as the investigation continues. Suchana Seth’s denial of involvement and the new evidence found in the room have added complexity to this heartbreaking case.
