Escape: Young Girl Narrowly Avoids Heinous Gang Rape Attempt in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh

Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh – A 19-year-old girl narrowly escaped a harrowing gang rape attempt in the Harpalpur Kotwali area of Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh. The victim, an aspiring constable and first-year B.Sc. student, was returning home from coaching when a classmate accompanied her on a bike. Shockingly, the situation took a dark turn when the girl was allegedly given intoxicants concealed in Rasgulla, leading to her losing consciousness. Subsequently, she was transported to a secluded house on the Bilhaur-Katra Highway by the acquaintance and his associates. Here, they attempted to carry out the heinous act.

The young girl managed to escape by ascending to the second floor of the house using the stairs and courageously jumping to the ground, sustaining serious injuries in the process. Passersby witnessed her plight, and prompt action led to her rescue. The police swiftly arrived at the scene, and the victim was initially admitted to the Community Health Center (CHC) before being transferred to the District Women’s Hospital due to the severity of her condition.

The police have initiated a thorough investigation into the entire incident and the survivor’s condition remains serious, emphasizing the urgent need for justice and comprehensive action against the perpetrators of this horrific crime.
