Explosion at Downtown Fort Worth Hotel Injures 21 People as Investigators Look for Cause

FORT WORTH, Texas – Investigators are working to determine the cause of an explosion at the Sandman Signature Fort Worth Hotel on Monday that injured 21 people. The blast shattered glass and part of the facade of the nearly 104-year-old 20-story tower.

The Fort Worth Fire Department has closed the “incident” and is now taking their evidence back to the station. Crews continue to clean up debris from the explosion, which dropped two floors of the hotel into the subbasement.
