According to police, one person was in critical condition and four others were seriously injured out of the 21 people who were injured during the explosion. The Fort Worth Fire Department stated that the incident displayed the “characteristics of a gas explosion,” although the cause was still under investigation. They also assured the public that there were no ongoing safety concerns in the area.
Casey Jordan Bass, who was at the scene of the explosion, captured footage of the aftermath, showing police officers working amidst debris. The video also captured the chaotic aftermath of the explosion, with distant alarms blaring and the sounds of clamor.
