David, 69, and Marilyn Brinklow, 74, were shocked by a loud explosion and witnessed their front garden engulfed in flames.
The private ambulance, operated by EMED, had just discharged the elderly patient and subsequently caught fire, resulting in a massive explosion. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but the Brinklow’s property sustained significant damage from the blast.
The aftermath of the explosion depicted a scene of devastation, with the ambulance reduced to a twisted metal shell. EMED is currently conducting an investigation to ascertain the cause of the explosion, emphasizing their commitment to patient safety.
