WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – A tragic incident in West Palm Beach, Fla., resulted in the death of Tommie Anderson III, a father who was working as a pizza delivery driver to support his children. The West Palm Beach Police Department stated that the 33-year-old Anderson was fatally shot during an alleged robbery attempt on Tuesday.

According to reports, the incident occurred just before 1 p.m. after Anderson had delivered a pizza to a home in central Palm Beach. Three individuals – Marcus T. Williams, 29, Avianna Williams, 25, and Elijsha Wingfield, 25 – reportedly approached Anderson and shot him while attempting to rob him.

The police found Anderson bleeding from gunshot wounds and transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Surveillance footage captured the three suspects pulling up near Anderson’s car in a white Honda, leading to their subsequent arrest.

During the interrogation, one of the suspects claimed that he “was in need of money and was expecting a paycheck, which he didn’t receive.” The trio was arrested on charges of first-degree murder with a firearm and is being held without bail.
