ATLANTA, GEORGIA – A Gwinnett County man has been missing since his departure for a date in Buckhead in July, and authorities now believe he was the victim of murder. Leondre Flynt, 21, was last seen leaving his Loganville home with a change of clothes and a bag, and his GMC Canyon truck was later found in Detroit, Michigan.
Last month, Destiny Stephens was arrested and charged with Flynt’s murder. Recently, Atlanta police also confirmed the arrest of Audrey Zalky in Carroll County, charging her with murder and concealing the death of another. She is currently awaiting extradition to Atlanta.
Flynt’s family provided his iCloud account and phone to the authorities, revealing communication between Flynt and Zalky on July 29, as well as the use of GPS to navigate to the Marquis at Buckhead apartment complex in Atlanta. Surveillance footage from a Lowe’s store in Atlanta showed Stephens purchasing a hand saw and bolt cutters from Flynt’s car. Two days later, the car was tracked to Detroit, Michigan.
No further details have been released about Zalky’s involvement in Flynt’s death. The investigation is ongoing.
In conclusion, the Gwinnett County man’s disappearance after a date in Buckhead in July has led to murder charges being filed against two individuals, with one awaiting extradition to Atlanta. The investigation continues as authorities gather more information about the sequence of events leading to Flynt’s disappearance and murder.
