Huber Heights Man Sentenced to 3 Years in Prison for Groping Teenage Girl in Greene County

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio – A man from Huber Heights has been sentenced to three years in prison for sexual abuse of a teenage girl in Greene County. Anthony Sellers, 38, was convicted of two counts of gross sexual imposition in September and was indicted in February. The abuse occurred over several years at residences in both Greene and Montgomery counties.

In early February of 2023, the victim revealed the abuse in a note passed to a family member, who then reported it to the authorities. The victim was interviewed, and further investigation revealed the extent of the abuse. Sellers’ sentencing took place on Dec. 20, and he has been ordered to serve three years in prison, according to court records at the Greene County Common Pleas Court.

Speaking after the sentencing, Greene County Prosecutor David Hayes praised the victim for her bravery, saying, “It took courage for this child to come forward and tell the truth about what Anthony Sellers did to her.” Sellers was found guilty by a jury, and Hayes added, “The jury rewarded that courage, recognized that truth and found Anthony Sellers guilty.”

Sellers was indicted in February, and the Greene County Prosecutor’s Office previously confirmed that the abuse had taken place over several years in both Greene and Montgomery counties. As the case concludes, Sellers will serve a three-year prison sentence for his actions.
