Minister Urges Home Ministry and Police to Address Violent Attack with Molotov Cocktail

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke has called on the Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN) and the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) to take serious note of a recent violent attack on the home of a party member.

Loke, who is also the Minister for Transport, emphasized the need for the Home Ministry and PDRM to ensure that public safety and order are always maintained, following the incident. He expressed sympathy and solidarity with the affected family, condemning the act of violence and emphasizing that any form of violence is unacceptable in society.

The DAP has made a police report and urged the police to act decisively and quickly to investigate and arrest the parties responsible for the crime. In response, the police announced that they are working to track down the person suspected of throwing the Molotov cocktail.
