Murder-Suicide Tragedy Strikes Glendale Couple in Riverside County

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA – Tragedy struck in Riverside County over the weekend as authorities reported a disturbing case of a murder-suicide involving a man and a woman.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department was notified by the Glendale Police Department on Sunday morning about a possible suicide threat involving two individuals in the Lake Mathews area. Deputies from the Lake Mathews Sheriff’s Station promptly responded to the call near Cajalco Road and La Sierra Avenue.

Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered a vehicle with two deceased individuals inside. The victims were identified as 54-year-old Matthew Haze and 53-year-old Naomi Haneji-Haze, both residents of Glendale in Los Angeles County. The authorities classified the incident as a murder-suicide.
