Random Attack in Plaza District: Man Jailed After Brutal Assault on Three Women Caught on Camera

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma – A man is behind bars following a disturbing incident in the Plaza District where he randomly attacked three women. The violent assault, captured on camera outside a bar late Friday night, has shocked the local community. One of the victims had to be rushed to the hospital by EMSA for treatment.

The video footage released by Oklahoma City police is difficult to watch, showing the unsuspecting victims being targeted by Adam Hartico, 33. Authorities stated that the attack appeared to be completely unprovoked, with Sgt. Dillon Quirk of the Oklahoma City Police Department describing it as a senseless act.

In the video, Hartico is seen forcefully slamming the victims’ heads together before delivering another blow to one of the women as she lay defenseless on the ground. While two bystanders attempted to intervene, the suspect managed to flee the scene before they could apprehend him.

Following the brutal assault, the victims reported suffering head injuries and memory loss. Court documents revealed that one of the victims, kicked in the face by Hartico, sustained a broken nose along with severe bruising and swelling.

Local business owners expressed shock and dismay after watching the disturbing footage of the attack. The Plaza District Association’s Executive Director, Rachael Leonhart, extended sympathy to the victims and their families, condemning the incident as a senseless and random act of violence.

Police swiftly identified Hartico as the suspect in the assault and took him into custody on multiple charges, including aggravated assault and battery. Additionally, authorities revealed that Hartico had also attacked another woman in a nearby parking lot prior to the violent incident in the Plaza District.
