MEMPHIS, Tenn. – On Saturday, a targeted attack outside a restaurant in Memphis claimed the life of Anthony “Big Jook” Mims, the brother of renowned rapper Yo Gotti. The shooting, which occurred around 4:15 p.m. outside Perignons Restaurant & Event Center, also left another man critically injured.
According to reports, both victims were attending a repast service at the restaurant when they were shot. Mims, who had earlier attended a funeral service for a relative, was rushed to St. Francis Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
