Volusia County, Florida – Two individuals have been taken into custody following a violent robbery that resulted in a man being hospitalized on February 22. The incident occurred when a 73-year-old man met with 34-year-old Chelsea Wright at a Daytona Beach bar, as detailed by Volusia County deputies. Wright then invited the man to her home, with both individuals driving separate vehicles. On their way to the destination, Wright picked up 33-year-old Andrew Marks and dropped him off near a residence.

Upon the victim’s approach to Wright’s car, Marks proceeded to strike the man with a metal object and assault him near the Plantation Pines neighborhood, resulting in the theft of the victim’s wallet and several injuries.
