Shooting: Man Accused of Killing Girlfriend in Houston Gunfight

Houston, Texas – A man is currently being sought after by authorities for allegedly shooting and killing his girlfriend at a gas station in Houston. The incident escalated further when the suspect engaged in a gunfight with a deputy constable, resulting in minor injuries to the law enforcement officer. The deputy constable was taken to a hospital for evaluation following the confrontation.

The tragic event unfolded around 12:35 a.m. on Tuesday at a gas station near MacGregor and Almeda in Houston. A Houston Fire Department ambulance crew, fueling up at the station, witnessed a domestic disturbance between the suspect and the victim. The situation quickly escalated, with the HFD crew reporting that the suspect chased the woman to the store’s driveway and fatally shot her approximately nine times.

Following the shooting, the HFD crew sought safety and informed a deputy constable about the incident. The deputy constable then attempted to initiate a traffic stop after the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle. A confrontation ensued between the deputy and the suspect, leading to an exchange of gunfire.

Despite the suspect temporarily leaving the area, they returned shortly after for another altercation with the deputy constable. The suspect then fled the scene in a black Chevy Camaro with Texas license plate DTB4849. Meanwhile, the HFD ambulance crew provided aid to the victim before transporting her to the hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

Authorities have identified the suspect as armed and dangerous but have not released their name to the public. Law enforcement officials are actively searching for the suspect and the vehicle involved in the incident, urging the community to come forward with any information that may lead to the suspect’s apprehension.
