Violent Suspect on the Run After Random Attacks in Duluth Shopping Center

DULUTH, Georgia – The Duluth Police Department is currently on the hunt for a violent suspect who has been involved in two random attacks in the same area of the city. The incidents occurred on Tuesday, where the suspect injured a 16-year-old leaving a Kroger store before assaulting a man at a nearby car wash. The violent acts have left the victims and the community in shock.

According to reports, the first attack took place in front of the Kroger store on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard and Pleasant Hill Road. The 16-year-old victim recounted being punched in the face by a stranger, causing him to be bloodied. Just an hour later, the same suspect reportedly assaulted a man working at a car wash located in a nearby Shell gas station, resulting in serious injuries, including a broken back.

Surveillance footage obtained by authorities shows the unidentified suspect, wearing a blue shirt, repeatedly kicking the victim before fleeing the scene. The motive behind the attacks remains unclear, as both victims expressed surprise and confusion over the violent encounters.
