The victim, a boy, was targeted as he alighted from the bus on Bader Drive in Mangere and then chased into a nearby car park behind McDonald’s. The incident took place after school hours and outside the school premises. The victim sustained serious injuries and was later hospitalized, receiving necessary care. The school has been in close contact with the victim’s family, providing them with the needed support.
Marcellin College has also collaborated with the Ministry of Education, Māngere College authorities, and the local police to address the incident and ensure appropriate action is taken.
