Trump Rightfully Enraged After Democrat Witch Hunt Intensifies.

Two Trump Organization affiliates were found convicted of tax fraud and additional financial offenses on Tuesday in a New York City court, prompting an angry response from former president Donald Trump, who once again accused Democrats of leading a witch hunt.

Trump stated again that he would appeal the Manhattan jury’s decision despite being dissatisfied. He also said that the government was able to get an employee to “plea” for a drastically reduced sentence after he reviewed millions of pages of records, significantly to the prejudice of New York City. In the meantime, the rate of murder and other violent crimes is rising to record levels.

Trump was referring to former CFO Allen Weisselberg, who pled guilty to allegations he falsified corporate records to erroneously lower his taxes on $1.7 million in fringe perks in exchange for a five-month prison sentence reduction.

Weisselberg claimed in his testimony that his greed was what caused this. During closing arguments, the defense counsel, Michael van der Veen contended that the lawsuit concerned Weisselberg and two corporate organizations who had not broken any laws rather than Donald Trump.

In a statement to the media, Trump said that the case involved Allen Weisselberg filing false tax returns solely for his benefit and with no use to the two subsidiary companies. He added that Weisselberg repeatedly stated, as did every other witness, that neither President Trump nor any member of the Trump Family had any knowledge of what he was doing.

Trump continued by asking why Corporations, which knew nothing about Weisselberg’s tax returns, should be prosecuted for that person’s conduct. He also said that to get the investigation done, we had to put our FAITH in a law office and an accounting firm that was both quite prestigious at the time and very expensive. It is also worth noting that the accounting firm that prepared Weisselberg’s returns was not even permitted to show the results legally.

“This was a case about greed and cheating,” said Democratic Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. In addition, Bragg said that no company is above the law in Manhattan.

Other Democrats have also joined the witch hunt against Trump. Said democrats include New York Attorney General Letitia James over allegations that he and three of his children committed fraud at the Trump Organization, Fulton County Prosecutor Fani Willis over claims that he attempted to tamper with Georgia’s 2020 election results, and the Biden Justice Department, which is looking into how Trump handled presidential documents stored at his Mar-a-Lago estate after he left office.

Trump closed by saying that the ‘Greatest Political Witch Hunt’ in the history of America is continuing and that businesses and citizens are fleeing our once-great city of New York because of how difficult it is to be pro trump.
