Violent Attack: Jamie Voska-Matsell Convicted of Multiple Offences After Brutal Incident in Bracknell

Bracknell, United Kingdom – A 21-year-old man from Teesdale Road in Slough made an appearance at Reading Magistrates Court on March 21, following a police investigation into a disturbing incident that took place on August 25, 2023.

The incident unfolded at an address in Bracknell, where Jamie Voska-Matsell and his victim were visiting a friend’s house. Voska-Matsell’s behavior turned aggressive towards the woman in her late teens, and despite being disqualified from driving and uninsured, he proceeded to leave the address with the victim’s car.

Upon his return to the address, Voska-Matsell launched a violent attack on the victim, assaulting her while they were both inside the car. The victim revealed that she had endured months of controlling and coercive behavior in their relationship prior to this traumatic incident.

Prior to allowing the victim to escape, Voska-Matsell inflicted further damage by hitting the car to intimidate her and tearing off a wing mirror. Following his arrest, the offender was charged with six different offenses and ultimately pleaded guilty to all counts.

PC Rebecca Reynolds, the investigating officer from Bracknell police station, expressed relief that Voska-Matsell took responsibility for his actions, sparing the victim from having to relive the harrowing experience in court. Thames Valley Police commended the victim for her bravery in coming forward and vowed to continue their efforts to combat violence against women in the area.
